With literally thousands of choices in television channels and programming, people don’t stay in one place for long. While they may once have been guaranteed to stay tuned in to one network for an entire evening, the sheer level of choice keeps their attention always shifting. The same applies to radio, and even print, where flipping through a magazine has replaced sitting down to read it thoroughly. This makes it harder to successfully place your message where it is most likely to be seen by the right audience.
